Web Design Feng Shui

I'm in the library looking for css2 books, and next to the computer section is the spirituality section. So i get distracted by a feng shui book and a quick scan through got me thinking. There is chi energy even in web design, well it sounded right. So i googles a bit of info on web feng shui and, of course there's a few sites discussing the ins and outs of "web feng shui". There's a huge variation in opinions as to what elements of design are effectively "good feng shui" but I guess 5000 year old design principles which are still accepted cant be ignored.

Here is my interpretation of feng shui for web pages.

these things I might consider for harmonious web design.
... and yes i've noted my own contridictions.

Rounded Edges - Most designs are BOXY! Although many designs have rounded edged style, theres altogether too many straight lines. This is an inherent problem limited by html/css as it's just easier to use boxs and straight lines. Try building curvy menus! Flash may overcome this in the future if it becomes accepted as the standard.

Colour Combinations - A balance of ying and yang in color selection will promote ch'i flow.

Keeping It Simple - Too much clutter can cause distraction from the ultimate goal of your web site. Navigation should be easy and consistant throughout your site. If your design is overwheling and unorganised it will effect your business prosperity.

Broken Links - That's got to mess up the ch'i.

The Karmic Cleanse - Removing old, irellevent documents and images and adding new and fresh material to your site for a good flow. This will also encourage a visitor flow and help with your SEO ch'i too.
